Welcome to the Midlands State University Faculty of Medicine Library Guide. This is a one stop centre for all your medical research and study resources developed to cater for the needs of the Faculty. The collection is carefully developed through liaison with Faculty in order to build collections that relate to the needs of the main stakeholders. The resources include a combination of electronic and print books, journals and research papers. The guide provides answers to questions relating to the availability, access and use of required resources. It should enhance the ability to effectively carry out research using both print and electronic resources, not only for medical students and lecturers but also medical practitioners practising in the health sector. The ability to conduct medical research will allow one to quickly and effectively respond to medical problems through the utilisation of latest medical research resources.
