Introduction

Welcome to the MSU Law Library, our mission is to provide access to appropriate legal information resources that support quality research and teaching. The library has a huge range of information resources that will assist you with your studies. Use this guide to find the most relevant legal resources for your studies.

What are the Library's Service Standards

The Midlands State University Library is committed to providing high quality services to our users. Access to Library Resources

All hardcopy textbooks are assigned call (class) numbers which are derived from the Library of Congress classfication scheme described here, for example KD7870 stands for the subject Criminal Law. For easy access to the hardcopy textbooks you can search for their physical location in the library using the Online Public Access Catalogue – (OPAC).

Disability Support

The Midlands State University Disability Resource Centre Libraries (DRC) are located at both the Gweru and Harare Campuses to provide services to students with special needs. The Libraries have equipment such as braille embossers, computers and magnifying readers as well as the Jaws software which assist users with special needs to efficiently access information.
